JPMorgan has expanded its corporate banking business to Greece as part of a broader plan to grow its services for companies across Europe.

The US bank said it increased staff in its global corporate banking division by 25% across Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the last two years.

The latest move reflects recent growth in the Greek economy, with JPMorgan seeking to claim market share from regional and domestic rivals.

Konstantinos Makrydakis will lead the corporate banking business in Greece, serving large and medium-sized companies.
