JPMorgan Issues Buffered Equity Notes Linked to Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500
JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC is issuing a new type of investment called North America Structured Investments 2yr INDU/SPX Buffered Equity Notes. These notes have a minimum denomination of $1,000 and are linked to the performance of two major stock indexes: the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500.
The notes will be sold until September 25, 2026, and will mature on September 28, 2028. If the closing level of either index is higher than its initial value, investors can earn a return based on the lesser-performing index's performance, but with an upside leverage factor of at least 1.00.
However, if the final value of either index is less than its initial value by more than 23%, investors could lose up to $770 for each $1,000 note. The estimated value of the notes will be lower than their original issue price and may differ from others' estimates, according to JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC.
The company emphasizes that investors are exposed to the risk of decline in the value of each underlying index and that any payment on the notes at maturity is subject to the credit risks of JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
