JPMorgan Issues Notes Linked to EURO STOXX 50 and Russell 2000 Indices
JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the largest financial institutions in the world, has issued a new type of financial instrument called notes. These notes are linked to two major stock market indices: the EURO STOXX 50 Index and the Russell 2000 Index.
The notes have a maturity date of September 2, 2031, and will be automatically called for cash payment if either index reaches its call value on any review date. The call premium amount is specified under 'Key Terms Relating to the Call Premium Amounts.'
Alternatively, if the notes are not called, investors will receive their principal amount at maturity if the final value of both indices is greater than or equal to 75% of their initial value. However, if either index falls below its barrier amount, investors could lose up to 25% of their principal amount.
