JPMorgan Proposes Active Management Shift for Emerging Markets ETF

JPMorgan ETFs (Ireland) ICAV announced an extraordinary general meeting to be held on October 1, 2026. The meeting will consider a proposal to change the investment objective, policy, and approach of the JPM USD Emerging Markets Sovereign Bond UCITS ETF.

The proposed changes would shift the fund from tracking an index to employing an actively managed strategy with an expanded investment universe and additional flexibility. However, the overall investment exposure is expected to remain unchanged, primarily focusing on USD-denominated debt securities issued by governments in emerging market countries.
