JPMorgan Upgrades Salesforce Stock to 'Overweight'
JPMorgan's senior analyst Samik Chatterjee has upgraded Salesforce stock to 'Overweight' and set a price target of $250, indicating potential upside of more than 30% from its current level.
This move comes after a research note released on August 13 by Chatterjee, who believes that Salesforce's valuation is too low at less than 4x sales. He argues that the current multiple does not reflect CRM's resilient revenue growth and impressive operating margins.
Chatterjee also dismissed concerns about artificial intelligence disruption, stating that competition from AI solutions threatens only a minor portion of Salesforce's core business.
Salesforce shares have been down more than 20% versus the start of this year, but Chatterjee remains confident in the company's long-term targets and expects its financial performance to accelerate.
