JPMorganChase has expanded its support for local San Francisco housing investments under the bank's $750 billion initiative. This move is part of a broader effort to help small businesses thrive in the Bay Area.

Courtsmith, an Oakland-born athletic apparel company, is one such beneficiary. Founded by Courtney Smith in 2014, Courtsmith has grown significantly since its inception, with revenue increasing by 259% from 2021 to 2025.

The company recently received a loan from ICA Fund, a Bay Area impact investor and small business support organization, which helped Courtsmith acquire a local manufacturing business. This move is expected to strengthen the brand's supply chain, reduce costs, and create more local jobs.
