JPMorganChase Commits $750 Billion to Affordable Housing Over Next Decade
JPMorganChase has announced a significant expansion of its American Dream Initiative, pledging $750 billion over the next decade to support affordable housing, homeownership opportunities, and policy development.
The fund aims to finance the development or preservation of 1 million mid-tier and workforce units for households earning up to 120% of the area median income (AMI), as well as provide loan options for modular and manufactured homes and down payment assistance.
JPMorganChase will also increase its origination volume by more than 40% through hiring 850 new Home Lending Advisors, with a goal of increasing homeownership opportunities for 500,000 customers, including 200,000 first-time homebuyers.
