JPMorganChase has made a major move into the sports industry by partnering with LA28, the organization behind the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The deal makes JPMorganChase the first-ever global banking partner for the games, and is estimated to be worth over $200M per four-year cycle.

The bank's Chief Marketing Officer, Carla Hassan, described the investment as a 'firm-wide initiative' that will be evaluated based on its impact on brand strength, customer engagement, client acquisition, and employee pride.

This is just the latest in JPMorganChase's growing portfolio of sports investments. The bank has previously partnered with Madison Square Garden in New York, the Chase Center in San Francisco, and has also sponsored the U.S. Open tennis tournament and Ohio State University. In addition, it has launched an Athlete Council to improve financial literacy and wealth management for athletes.

Hassan noted that the opportunity to partner with the Olympics was 'unique and appealing' due to its international reach.
