JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Asia-Pacific corporate banking business has been experiencing strong growth, with revenues increasing more than 20% so far this year. According to Oliver Brinkmann and Kerwin Clayton, regional heads of JPMorgan, growing investments and rising intra-Asia trade are driving new opportunities for the bank.

As a result, JPMorgan is sustaining its hiring momentum across Asia-Pacific through 2027, with plans to maintain a similar pace next year. The bank has already expanded its Asia-Pacific corporate banking workforce by 20% in 2025 and aims to increase it by another 15% this year.

The focus will be on mid-sized and large companies, innovation-economy businesses, and financial institutions, including both bank and non-bank financial institutions. This investment is expected to support JPM's growth across these segments and expand the company's corporate banking presence in Asia-Pacific.
