Actor Christopher Judge, who voiced and performed motion-capture for Kratos in the 'God of War' series, expressed frustration that Amazon's upcoming TV adaptation has not involved writers and developers from the original games. He stated his desire to see the original creators receive love and respect for their work.

Judge made these comments during a panel at FanExpo Denver in May, where he criticized the decision to exclude game writers and developers from the project. He noted that the TV adaptation is creating episodes that are shot-for-shot remakes of the games, but instead of hiring the original cast, they have opted for a new team.

Judge clarified that his comments had nothing to do with him not being cast as Kratos in the series and stated he wouldn't want to be a distraction in a cameo role. He also acknowledged that he's too old to play live-action Kratos, citing his age of 62 and the physical demands of the role.

A representative for Amazon did not immediately respond to comment on Judge's statements.
