June AI Founder Efrat Rapoport's Rapid Rise to Success
Efrat Rapoport, founder of June AI, is no stranger to entrepreneurship. In 2019, she sold her previous startup, Bonobo AI, to Salesforce for an undisclosed sum.
Rapoport then took on a new role as head of Salesforce's Israeli R&D center, overseeing a team of 700 employees from 2022 to 2024.
However, Rapoport's entrepreneurial spirit soon got the best of her, and she co-founded June AI in late 2025 with partners Marc Benioff, Michael Dell, and George Kurtz.
The startup secured a $20 million pre-seed funding round from Time Ventures, led by Benioff, as well as investments from Dell and Kurtz.
