K2 Aviation Expands Cargo Operations with Boeing 737-800BCF Aircraft
K2 Aviation has expanded its presence in the commercial aviation and aircraft leasing market by completing a deal with Aircastle to acquire two Boeing 737-800BCF aircraft. These aircraft will be operated by ASL Airlines, marking K2 Aviation's entry into a new airline customer.
The Boeing 737-800BCF is designed for short- and medium-haul cargo operations, allowing operators flexibility in regional freight networks. With the capacity to carry approximately 23.9 tonnes of cargo, these aircraft support efficient point-to-point freight operations.
ASL Airlines operates cargo and passenger services across Europe and other international markets, with its network supporting express, e-commerce, and general air freight operations. The addition of these two aircraft is expected to provide the airline with additional capacity as it continues to develop its cargo operations.
