Kailera Therapeutics Attracts Big Pharma Attention with Promising Obesity Pipeline
Kailera Therapeutics (NASDAQ:KLRA) is a clinical-stage biotech company focused on developing treatments for obesity. After its recent IPO, shares have been trading between $16.39 and $28.23, with a market cap of $2.4 billion.
The company has partnered with Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals on a multi-billion-dollar licensing and co-development deal. Kailera's pipeline includes several promising candidates, including ribupatide injection (KAI-9531), which is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials.
