Kansas City Boy Killed by Amazon Delivery Van, Driver Sued for Negligence
A tragic incident has led to a wrongful death lawsuit in Kansas City. Four-year-old Tadens Joseph was struck by an Amazon delivery van on East Third Terrace, near a park. The driver, who works for Daval Express LLC, an 'Amazon Delivery Service Partner', is accused of negligence in hiring, training, and supervising her.
According to the lawsuit, there's no justification for the driver's failure to perceive and avoid striking Tadens, nor for her failure to stop and render aid after hitting him. The child died at the scene.
The family is seeking damages for their son's death, including funeral and burial expenses. Amazon itself is not named as a defendant in the case.
