Karns City Woman Leaves Legacy Through Selfless Acts
Deborah L. Claypoole, a 68-year-old resident of Karns City, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 7, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Born on October 13, 1957, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of Karl L. and Helen L. Cyphers Baker.
Deb had a strong work ethic and worked for various companies, including Moonlight Mushrooms, Creekside Mushrooms, and Home Depot, where she retired in 2019. Outside of work, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and dogs, crocheting, gardening, and riding her motorcycle.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald W. Claypoole; daughter Danielle (Michael) Hite; bonus children Tracy Claypoole, Gidget (Jason) McGhee, and Michael (Nicole) Claypoole; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a third on the way.
