Kean Continues Tech Stock Exits with Alphabet Sale
US Representative Thomas Kean has continued his pattern of selling Alphabet (Google parent) shares. On August 27, 2026, he disclosed another sale of Class A shares worth between $1,001 and $15,000.
This latest sale follows a trend of tech stock exits by Kean throughout the year. Despite his sales, Alphabet's stock price rose about 2.57% after the sale, supported by strong quarterly earnings beating Wall Street expectations.
Kean also sold shares in Microsoft and Johnson & Johnson on the same day, while buying shares in infrastructure company MasTec earlier. This indicates a rotation across sectors rather than outright divestment from the market.
