Kean Jr. Unloads Alphabet, Stryker Stocks Amid Market Volatility
Representing New Jersey's 7th congressional district, Thomas Kean Jr. has recently engaged in multiple stock transactions, according to a recent congressional trade report.
The congressman partially sold his stake in Alphabet Inc.'s Class A Common Stock (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Stryker Corporation Common Stock (NYSE:SYK), with each transaction valued between $1,001 and $15,000.
The timing of the GOOGL sale is notable given the stock's impressive 71% return over the past year, bringing its market capitalization to $4.21 trillion.
In addition to these sales, Kean also made several purchases, buying shares in Amazon.com, Inc.'s Common Stock (NASDAQ:AMZN), EQT Corporation Common Stock (NYSE:EQT), ESAB Corporation Common Stock, and Toast, Inc.'s Class A Common Stock (NYSE:TOST).
The transactions were initiated and executed by third-party advisors without any input from Representative Kean.
