Kearsney College Hosts World-Renowned Rugby Tournament
Kearsney College is set to host one of the biggest school rugby tournaments in the world from July 11-16. The combined U18 Coca-Cola Craven and Academy Week will bring together 44 teams, around 1,200 players and support staff, and thousands of spectators from across South Africa.
The tournament offers a significant boost to the local economy, with hospitality venues, coffee shops, restaurants, shops, and places of attraction expected to benefit from the influx of visitors. Supersport will broadcast all weekday games live, as well as Saturday's final.
Kearsney College is proud to have five players representing KwaZulu-Natal: Dylan Richardson, Jared Meyer, Luke Croshaw, James Miller, and Cameron Ritchie. The team's manager is Dean Moodley, a teacher at the college.
