Lameck shared his experience in a video, recounting how he used lessons from the first denial to receive approval within minutes during his second interview. The tone of the visa officer shifted when Lameck and him shared a warm greeting, easing the atmosphere.

The officer asked just two questions: the purpose of his travel, and how he planned to finance his studies. Lameck replied that he was pursuing a master's degree and had secured a full graduate assistantship to cover his costs.
