King Charles Calls In Big Tech To Boost UK AI Ambitions
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently joined King Charles III and other tech heavyweights at Blair House in Washington, D.C. for a meeting focused on artificial intelligence development, investment, and the UK's bid to become a serious player in the global tech race.
The meeting was attended by notable figures such as Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Tim Cook of Apple, and executives from AMD, Salesforce, and Alphabet.
Huang used the opportunity to push for a more vibrant venture capital ecosystem in the UK, citing the need to bridge the funding gap that often prevents promising university spinouts from reaching commercial viability.
Nvidia has already pledged $42 billion towards UK AI infrastructure, announced in September 2025, as part of its effort to support the country's tech ambitions.
