Korea Investment CORP Invests $218 Million in American Express
Korea Investment CORP has made a significant investment in American Express Company (NYSE:AXP), acquiring 647,397 shares of the payment services company's stock for approximately $218.98 million.
This new position represents about 0.10% of American Express' outstanding shares at the end of the most recent quarter.
Other institutional investors have also made significant investments in American Express, including BlackRock Inc., which acquired a new position valued at about $14.21 billion, and State Street Corp, which boosted its holdings by 1.3%.
