A Lagos family has petitioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over an alleged attempt by a federal lawmaker and the Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA) to forcibly take their land in Agidingbi, Ikeja.

The Akinole-Oshiun family claims that Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, representing the Ikeja Federal Constituency, has been using his influence and government machinery to interfere with their possession of an approximately 8,000-square-metre parcel of land along Lateef Jakande Road.

The disputed property is located opposite the Coca-Cola Factory in Agidingbi and forms part of a larger tract of land measuring approximately 398 acres, which has been adjudged to belong to the Akinole-Oshiun family by various superior courts.
