Lakeshore Lodge Reveal: Disney's Serene Oasis on the Horizon
Walt Disney World's Lakeshore Lodge is getting closer to its Summer 2027 opening, and new details are emerging about what guests can expect. The resort will have a nature-inspired grand lobby with dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Wetlands recreation area, immersing guests in the natural beauty surrounding Bay Lake.
The lobby's design incorporates natural materials throughout, creating an atmosphere that feels warm, inviting, and connected to the environment. Fans of Disney animation will recognize subtle nods to Pocahontas woven into the space, including a shimmering fiber-optic river and a blown-glass Colors of the Wind sculpture.
Lakeshore Lodge will offer three unique dining experiences: Moonglade, Bay Lake Provisions, and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill. Moonglade is the resort's signature table-service restaurant, located along the shores of Bay Lake with panoramic waterfront views and seasonal menus featuring locally sourced ingredients.
Bay Lake Provisions will be an all-day quick-service marketplace offering specialty coffee beverages, fresh meals, and an open-kitchen concept. Paint Out Point Bar & Grill is a casual poolside dining experience inspired by plein-air painting, showcasing original artwork created by Disney Imagineers after spending time painting the landscapes around Bay Lake.
For evening relaxation, Dandelion Terrace will offer stunning views of Magic Kingdom fireworks reflected across Bay Lake, along with whimsical dandelion-inspired lighting fixtures and a two-story gallery featuring archival artwork from classic Disney films.
