Largan Precision Soars to New Heights as Apple Season Kicks In
Largan Precision's stock has hit limit-up for two consecutive days, reaching an all-time high of NT$6,915 on August 27. This surge surpasses HON to make Largan Taiwan's third-highest priced listed company.
The dual catalysts behind this rise are Apple's new iPhone inventory build-up and Largan's emerging co-packaged optics (CPO) business. The latter involves land acquisition in Taichung's Nantun District, totaling NT$3.08 billion for approximately 6,292 ping of land and 7,054 ping of buildings.
Chairman Lin En-ping recently stated that July shipment momentum exceeded June, and August is tracking better than July. This indicates a strong demand for Largan's smartphone lens shipments in the second half of the year.
