LATAM Expands Brazil Operations with New Aircraft, Routes, and Destinations
LATAM is rapidly expanding its operations in Brazil, increasing connectivity within and to the country through new aircraft orders, routes, and destinations.
The airline has confirmed an order for 10 additional Boeing 787 Dreamliners, with options for five more units, which will be delivered from 2025 through the end of the decade. This addition reinforces LATAM's long-haul capabilities, particularly in services to Brazil's main hubs like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
In parallel, LATAM is introducing Embraer E195-E2 jets to strengthen regional frequencies within South America, including Brazil. The E195-E2 is seen as crucial for expanding connectivity to medium-sized cities where demand is growing but cannot yet sustain larger narrowbodies.
