The singing voice behind Disney's Princess Jasmine and Mulan, Salonga was praised by her peers for her unique ability to connect with audiences through her music. Brandy, who sang alongside Salonga at the Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration, described her as 'someone fierce, beautiful inside and out, and determined'.
Salonga's own fairytale journey to Hollywood began when she was just a young girl, working in the entertainment industry from an early age. Her first major achievement came in 1991, when she became the first Asian woman to win a Tony Award for her role in Miss Saigon.
