Lecanto Home Depot Set to Open on October 15th

Home Depot's new store in Lecanto, Florida, is set to open on October 15th, according to chain representative Jack Feenick.

The massive location spans 136,980 square feet, making it larger than the national average of around 105,000 square feet. This is one of 12 stores the company is opening this year.

Residents had expressed concerns about traffic and the development's impact on their neighborhood during construction. The county ultimately approved store access from Kensington Avenue, a deviation from the original plan which envisioned primary access solely from State Road 44.
