Legal & General Takes a Major Stake in Boeing
Legal & General Group Plc, a British multinational investment management company, has acquired a new position in Boeing's stock. The fund bought approximately 3.28 million shares of Boeing's stock during the second quarter, valued at $710.8 million.
This is not an isolated move; other large investors have also recently modified their holdings of Boeing's stock. Revolve Wealth Partners LLC purchased a new stake in shares of Boeing, while Sivia Capital Partners LLC increased its position by 16.5% during the second quarter. Ieq Capital LLC raised its stake in Boeing by 243.8%, and Alliancebernstein L.P. boosted its holdings by 4.2%.
Despite this increase in ownership, analysts continue to focus on Boeing's ability to increase 737 MAX production against its substantial backlog. Higher output could improve revenue and benefit suppliers, but execution, regulatory oversight, and supply-chain constraints remain important risks.
