LEGO Sets Disappearing from Shelves: Still Available on Amazon
The best time to buy LEGO sets is just before they retire, but sometimes this window can be missed. After retirement, sets become scarce resources and their value increases.
Recently retired LEGO sets are still available on Amazon, with only about 12 of the many retired in July remaining in stock. The LEGO Transformers Bumblebee build and Star Wars sets like Obi-Wan Kenobi's Starfighter and an AT-ET Walker can be found at the original MSRP.
The Great Pyramid of Giza Architecture set was also recently retired, but is still available on Amazon. This set was released in 2022 and is the only LEGO pyramid available.
