Lenovo Unveils High-End Googlebook 15 Laptop
The Lenovo Googlebook 15 has been officially confirmed by a leak of Lenovo's product sheet and high-resolution renders. The laptop, which was previously just a rumor with a name, runs on an operating system called Googlebook OS. This is no ordinary Chromebook, but rather a premium laptop that happens to run Google's software.
The spec sheet reads like a Windows ultrabook, with a 15.3-inch OLED touchscreen featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. The laptop will also come with an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, integrated graphics, 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5x memory, and 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The Lenovo Googlebook 15 will feature a dedicated Google key between the Fn and Alt keys, giving users quick access to Google's ecosystem. The laptop also boasts a Glowbar strip on the lid that shows battery and charging status, as well as a fingerprint reader and Google facial authentication.
