LG Teams Up with Nvidia on Humanoid Robotics, AI Factories, and Future Mobility

South Korean conglomerate LG Group has announced a significant partnership with Nvidia to develop cutting-edge technologies in humanoid robotics, artificial intelligence factories, and future mobility. The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on these projects.

According to the agreement, LG Group affiliates such as LG Electronics, LG Innotek, and LG Energy Solution will work with Nvidia to develop and manufacture hardware based on Nvidia's platforms, including the Isaac GR00T platform for bipedal humanoid robots and the Vera Rubin platform for AI factories. The two companies aim to unveil a bipedal humanoid robot in the first quarter of 2027.

The partnership also involves the development of an AI-Defined Vehicle platform based on Nvidia's Drive Hyperion architecture, with a focus on next-generation mobility solutions. This collaboration will enable LG Group affiliates to leverage Nvidia's expertise and technology to create innovative products and services.
