Li Lu Bets Big on Pinduoduo and Berkshire Hathaway
Li Lu, known as the 'Chinese Warren Buffett,' has made significant changes to his $3.7 billion portfolio at Himalaya Capital Management. His firm, which he founded in 1997, now holds eight stocks, with two of them being linked to Alphabet Inc making up nearly half of the entire portfolio.
Himalaya Capital's biggest holding is Alphabet Inc Class A shares (GOOGL), worth $908,899,000, and its second-largest holding is Alphabet Inc Class C shares (GOOG) worth $866,118,000. Lu increased his stake in Pinduoduo (PDD) by 133.53% during the quarter, making it the firm's biggest bet.
The 'Chinese Warren Buffett' also added to his investment in Berkshire Hathaway CL B (BRK.B), buying 210,569 more shares and increasing his stake by 23.46%. Lu completely exited six stocks, including Bank of America Corp (BAC) and Occidental Petroleum (OXY).
