Liam Nolan Secures Best Career Payday at Amgen Irish Open
Galway golfer Liam Nolan achieved his best career payday as a professional at the Amgen Irish Open. He finished on 3 under par with a final round 69, earning him €41,343.
Nolan's excellent performance also improved his ranking in the Official World Golf Ranking to 591st. This achievement comes after Shane Lowry secured his second Irish Open title and earned a significant sum of money.
Lowry's victory at Doonbeg yesterday earned him €878,529, as well as 835 Race to Dubai points and 250 Ryder Cup qualification points. His win has also propelled him up the European Order of Merit rankings to 17th position ahead of this week's BMW International tournament.
Nolan will be competing in the Open De Portugal from Thursday on the Hotel Planner Tour, following his success at the Amgen Irish Open.
