Libya Inks Production-Sharing Deal with US Energy Giant Chevron
The National Oil Corporation of Libya has signed a production-sharing agreement with Chevron, a US energy giant. This deal is part of the country's efforts to explore and develop its oil and gas resources.
According to the NOC chief, Massoud Suleman, this agreement represents 'a significant step' towards achieving these goals. The agreement follows the awarding of oil and gas exploration blocks to Chevron and other foreign oil companies earlier this year.
The deal marks a milestone in Libya's efforts to revitalize its energy sector, which has faced challenges due to ongoing conflicts and instability in the country.
