Microsoft has announced a limited-time sale on its Office Home & Business for Mac 2021 license, which is now available for $99.97, down from its usual price of $219. The lifetime license will be valid until the end user buys another computer, eliminating the need for recurring payments or surprise price hikes.
The sale is being run by StackSocial and will last until September 3 at 11:59 p.m. PT. During this time, customers can purchase the license without needing a coupon code.
According to an unnamed customer who recently had to reinstall Microsoft Office on their new Mac, they discovered that their subscription had quietly jumped to $10 a month. This prompted them to look into purchasing a one-time license instead of renewing their subscription out of habit.
