Lindsay Lohan's Linlo Beauty Brand Gains Momentum
Lindsay Lohan is reportedly gearing up to launch her own beauty brand, Linlo Beauty. According to trademark and financial documents, a trademark application for Linlo Beauty was made on April 2 this year with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The filing encompasses a wide range of cosmetics, including body cream, cleansing milk, eye cream, gel eye patches, sunscreen, make-up, nail polish, and self-tanning cream.
Lohan's business entity Crossheart Productions is listed as the owner. This comes after she revealed last year that she was developing a skin care line in an interview with Elle magazine, stating 'It is taking a long time because I am very specific, because I am crazy about my skin and health.'
In another filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on July 22, Lohan is listed as a related person to Linlo Beauty, along with her husband Bader Shammas. Lara Verdugo, a former executive at pharmaceutical company ISDN and Procter & Gamble, has been named CEO of Linlo Beauty.
