LIV Golfers Tee Up for Amgen Irish Open Amid Strong Field

The Amgen Irish Open has drawn in some big names from the golf world, including former LIV Golfers and defending champion Rory McIlroy.

Among the nine LIV Golfers competing are Tyrrell Hatton, who finished fifth in the season-long individual standings on LIV Golf, and Joaquin Niemann, who has 22 professional wins, including nine on LIV Golf.

Jon Rahm is also looking for his third title at the event, having won it twice previously, in 2017 and 2019. He's competing alongside other big names like Sergio Garcia, who has 16 DP World Tour titles to his name, and Thomas Detry, who had seven top-10s on LIV Golf last season.

Other notable competitors include Laurie Canter, who claimed two DP World Tour titles in 2024 and 2025, and David Puig, one of the youngest stars on the LIV Golf roster, who finished ninth in the individual championship this year.
