Lladró Unveils Avant-Garde Mickey Mouse Sculpture in Partnership with Disney
The Walt Disney Company has partnered with Spanish brand Lladró to create an avant-garde Mickey Mouse sculpture called Mickey Doodle. The piece is a departure from traditional designs, featuring a freehand doodle style that blends technical and playful elements.
Measuring 58 centimeters tall, the sculpture was crafted from white porcelain and required nearly 500 hours of technical work, with an additional 100 hours devoted to its intricate ornamentation. The distinctive black doodle pattern is showcased on a custom wooden pedestal, adding to the piece's striking display presence.
Lladró's expertise in handcrafting and hand-painting every element has resulted in a contemporary work of art that brings the essence of modern myths to luxury collecting. Mickey Doodle is available at Lladró boutiques, authorized retailers worldwide, and the brand's official online store.
