Local Entrepreneur Makes History as Goldman Sachs Black in Business Cohort Member
Mara Cunningham, founder of Youngstown's Yo! Crash, has made history as one of only 306 female entrepreneurs accepted into the prestigious Goldman Sachs Black in Business cohort. This exclusive program boasts a mere 6% acceptance rate from thousands of applicants worldwide.
Cunningham completed 100 hours of free online coursework taught by NYU Stern School of Business professors and was invited to attend a ceremony at the Goldman Sachs Manhattan Headquarters.
'I made it for the people that look like me and I made it for the people that understand and feel the things that I feel,' Cunningham said, reflecting on her achievement. Her business, Yo! Crash, offers a unique experience where customers can release their emotions in a rage room setting.
