Ralph Edwin 'Ed' Maglisceau, a devoted husband, father, and community servant, passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Olean, New York, Ed was raised in North Tonawanda, where his parents served as teachers at North Tonawanda High School. He continued his education and football career at Cornell University, meeting his wife Anne Sterling there.

Ed's corporate career spanned over 30 years with IBM, earning recognition for his ability to bring people together towards a common goal. After retiring from IBM, Ed and his family moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he served in the Presbyterian church and government committees. He also taught at the College of Santa Fe and the Institute of American Indian Arts.

Ed's love for sports led him to coach his children's youth leagues and referee high school and college football games for over 40 years. His family will gather in late September for a small celebration, with a permanent memorial to be placed at Ghost Ranch later this fall.
