Longtime IBM Employee Herbert Joseph Hogle Passes Away at 93

Herbert Joseph Hogle lived an impressive life that spanned nearly a century. Born in San Diego, CA on March 7, 1932, he proudly served his country in the Navy. After his time in service, he worked for IBM for an astonishing 36 years, which is a testament to his dedication and work ethic.

Upon retiring from IBM, Hogle settled in Santa Rosa, where he became a dedicated volunteer at his church and several other community programs. He was particularly close with his family, enjoying quality time with his wife of almost 70 years, Georgia Tenter Hogle, as well as their daughters Mary (and Craig Griffith) and Donna (and Jerry Tomlinson). Together, they had four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Hogle's love for his family was evident in the joy he derived from spending time with them. Unfortunately, he passed away on April 9, 2025, but a celebration of his life will take place on May 10, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church Santa Rosa, located at 1550 Pacific Ave.
