L'Oréal Taps Rahquel Purcell for North America DE&I Chief Role
L'Oréal has appointed Rahquel Purcell as its new Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer for North America. She will oversee the company's DE&I strategy across the region and focus on strengthening inclusive workplace practices.
Purcell succeeds Liliahn Majeed in the role and will report to Alexis Perakis-Valat, CEO of L'Oréal USA and President of North America. She has been a member of L'Oréal's management committee and global DE&I leadership team since her appointment.
Purcell joins this new position from her previous role as Chief Transformation Officer for North America, where she led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Prior to joining L'Oréal in 2016, Purcell spent 23 years at Procter & Gamble in various senior operations and supply chain leadership roles.
The appointment reinforces L'Oréal's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as a strategic business priority, recognizing the importance of inclusive leadership in driving innovation, talent development, and consumer relevance.
