Low Volatility Stocks Gain Attention as Fed Communication Shifts
The Federal Reserve's shift in communication strategy is causing investors to look for stocks with steady trading histories and clean balance sheets.
Coca-Cola HBC, a major bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola products, has been identified as one of three low-volatility picks. The company generates €11.6b from the sale and distribution of non-alcoholic beverages across Europe, Nigeria, and other international markets.
Another stock on the list is Village Super Market, which operates supermarkets and specialty markets in the United States. It generates US$2.4b in annual revenue from retail sales and offers a 2.28% dividend yield.
Coca-Cola itself has also been included as a low-volatility pick due to its global brands, high margins, and long dividend track record.
