Lowry Soars to Four-Shot Lead at Amgen Irish Open

Shane Lowry takes control of the Amgen Irish Open heading into its final round. The former Open Champion carded a five-under-par third-round score of 65, giving him a four-shot lead over his closest competitor.

The Dane Jacob Skov Olesen is currently second on the leaderboard after posting a six-under-par 66 in his third round.

Defending champion Rory McIlroy struggled in his third round, finishing with a four-over-par score of 74. He now finds himself at +2 for the tournament.

Fellow Irishman Tom McKibbin remains in contention, sitting on -7 and set to start the final round in the afternoon.
