Luck Stone and Caterpillar Expand Autonomous Hauling Technology to Two More Quarries
Luck Stone and Caterpillar are expanding their successful autonomous hauling technology to two additional quarries in Virginia. The expansion follows an 18-month pilot program at Luck Stone's Bull Run Quarry, which saw over 3.5 million tons hauled autonomously since November 2024.
The partnership between Luck Stone and Caterpillar aims to enhance safety, consistency, and new opportunities for associates through technology. By combining people, process, and innovation, the companies have improved production consistency and created safer work environments.
