Lydia Cass, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on August 1, 2026. Born in San Francisco on March 4, 1936, Lydia lived a life that spanned over nine decades. She was married to her first husband, Tom Bryan, with whom she had four children, before meeting Del Cass, whom she loved for 43 years until his death.

Lydia's family was her greatest joy, and she is survived by five children, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She also worked as a Customer Representative at Fireman's Fund (also known as American Express) for 15 years, where she developed an unwavering work ethic and professionalism that earned her lasting friendships.

Lydia's love for gardening and cooking was well-known to those who knew her, and she spent many years running her own plant shop in Petaluma. Her dedication to volunteer work, particularly with hospice, also left a lasting impact on her community.
