Lynch Regrets Missing Apple Bet
Peter Lynch, a veteran American investor and former Fidelity Magellan fund manager, has regretted not buying Apple shares in the past. In a recent interview, he acknowledged that he wished he had invested in the iPhone maker, despite his daughter using an iPod.
Lynch noted that Apple was 'not that hard to understand' and had a nice balance sheet at the time. He recalled thinking that the company made high margins on its products, but ultimately didn't buy the stock.
This is not the first instance of Lynch regretting a missed investment opportunity. He also wishes he had bought Nvidia shares earlier, calling it 'a huge stock' and joking about his inability to pronounce the name.
