The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort has been dealing with an operational issue. Due to flooding, the Frontier Trading Post location in Frontierland was closed indefinitely on Monday, August 24.

According to reports, 'several inches' of water accumulated in the area on the evening of August 23, causing the closure. Fortunately, the store did not suffer any water damage and has since reopened as of Wednesday, August 26.

The Magic Kingdom is currently undergoing a major transformation with the construction of new lands, including Piston Peak National Park themed after the Cars franchise and a Villains Land featuring a Maleficent roller coaster. These areas are replacing the former Rivers of America area, which was permanently closed last year to make way for the new developments.
