Magnifier Gets Fresh New Icon, But Introduces Themed Icon Bug

Google has rolled out an update to its Magnifier app, introducing a fresh new icon. The revamped design features a blue-to-purple gradient and a thicker magnifying glass on a filled-in square background.

This redesign follows Google's trend of refreshing the icons of its first-party apps. However, it appears that this update has also introduced an issue with themed icons enabled.

When themed icons are turned on, Magnifier displays a monochrome version of its logo in matching Material You colors. Unfortunately, the latest update breaks this feature, showing a blank colored circle instead.
