Mahindra Integrates Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise into Vehicles
Mahindra has partnered with Google Cloud to integrate Gemini Enterprise technology into its vehicles. The partnership marks Mahindra's pioneering step as the first Indian OEM to bring this cutting-edge automotive agent into its cars, providing an unparalleled in-car experience for customers.
The new BE 6 SPORTEQ series from Mahindra features a MAIA (Mahindra’s Artificial Intelligence Architecture) platform that leverages advanced Gemini models. This allows the vehicle's system to understand natural, conversational human intent rather than fixed voice commands.
Drivers can access intuitive in-car features such as voice-controlled climate, lighting, and window management, alongside media playback and live weather updates. The assistant, MAIA, acts as a proactive co-pilot that combines real-time vehicle data with personal context to provide users with specific intelligence to carry out unique tasks.
